Dr. Annie Duan

MD, CCFP, BSc (Hon.)

Dr. Annie Duan is a family physician at Roxboro Clinic with clinical interests in preventative medicine, women’s health, and thoughtful approaches to end-of-life care. She completed medical school at the University of Alberta and her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary.

In addition to her work in primary care, Dr. Duan practices as a hospitalist at South Health Campus in Calgary. She has also worked as a hospitalist in Victoria, British Columbia and in northern Alberta, and previously served as an outreach physician supporting ICU teams across Calgary hospitals. These experiences have given her a broad perspective on the progression of disease and the importance of early intervention and prevention.

Dr. Duan believes in a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care. She values open conversations and shared decision-making, working closely with patients to explore testing, treatment options, and strategies that support long-term health and well-being.

Outside of her work at Roxboro Clinic, Annie enjoys oil painting, cooking, and reading. In the summer she loves wake surfing, and in the winter she enjoys relaxing at home with her two miniature dachshunds.
